Did this more recent East Asian gene flow affect only the Na Dene speakers? Would be interesting to see how much of this component the plains/western US Na Dene speakers have. I am curious how East Asian Paleo-eskimos are or if they also have additional West Eurasian ancestry, albeit the latter is unlikely.
From what I have observed in MDLP K23b, a gedmatch calculator, I presumed that the recent East Asian input impact some other Northern Amerindians as well such as Cree, Ojibwe as they also score notable amounts of "Arctic" component (peaks in the Eskimo/Inuit, followed by the Chukchi in average sample in the K23b spreadsheet).

I don't know if it's just my own assumption or not, but it looks as if ancient Native Americans have slightly more West Eurasian ancestry than their modern day descendants.

For example, this Mesolithic sample from Brazil, Sumidouro_10100BP, seems to possess around 5.4% "European-like" West Eurasian (mainly Spanish-like) admixture, which I am not sure if is additional ANE or is there another gene flow from a non-ANE West Eurasian source?. What's odd is that the sample also score 0.8% African (Esan) and 0.6% Papuan which could be some type of archaic affinity I guess...

Or the Anzick boy, a Paleo-Indian individual, apparently score 4.4% "European-like" Western Eurasian admixture (Karelia_HG+minor Spanish-related and negligible additional AG3); which makes me wonder if it's actually some ANE being misinterpreted by G25 run as something else or another non-ANE West Eurasian ancestry? Also 0.4% Negrito-like (Great Andamanese) and 0.2% African (Esan)-like affinities which could be just some archaic admixture or unknown ancient links I believed.

    0.4 IND_Great_Andamanese_100BP
    0.4 RUS_AfontovaGora3
    0.2 Esan_Nigeria

And Kennewick Man, who like the Sumidouro and Anzick, also seem to manifest approximately 3% non-ANE/"European-like" West Eurasian (French Nord+Karelia_HG) ancestry. Once again, I wonder if its actually ANE or there is a second source of West Eurasian ancestry into some Native Americans? Also 1.4% Papuan and 0.6% African, which could be some archaic admixture or unknown affinity I presumed.

    Target: USA_WA_Kennewick:kennewick

    2.2 French_Nord
    1.4 Papuan
    0.8 RUS_Karelia_HG
    0.6 Esan_Nigeria

If these "European-like" affinities in these three ancient Native American samples are legitimate, then is it possible to deduce that modern day Amerindians are slightly more ENA and a bit less ANE/West Eurasian than their ancient forefathers?

To everyone here, I apologized for being off topic in this thread.

Wouldn't a little admixture between Onge and East Asian in either direction do this? Especially if Tianyuan is not a direct ancestor of northern ENA but a parallel branch. The southern east Asian component was still moving northwards even during historic times in China, so it would give off a stronger signal.

A clearer picture is to compare Papuan with East Asian.

I'm back and having a look at this. I don't think my tree will be like theirs. There really isn't much going on between the Onge and Jomon.

Can you determine if Tianyuan is ancestral (or at least his line) to Yana and EHG?

That's not really what I'm focusing on. I can take a look at it at the end though.

Thanks. His Y lineage seems to indicate he would be ancestral imo.

    General observations:

    - Liangdao1 and Liangdao2 seem to represent different "clusters" of rice farmer-like ancestry in modern-day Han Chinese. Liangdao1 has a more "northern" distribution than Liangdao2, which seems more common among Han subgroups that are geographically further south. Liangdao1 peaks among Han subgroups along the Yangtze River, while Liangdao2 peaks among Guangdong Han (next to Hong Kong), Chongqing Han (adjacent to Sichuan in the SW), Fujian Han (across from Taiwan), and Shanghai Han.

    - Han_Sichuan is somewhat more "northern" shifted than Han_Chongqing, despite the two populations being very culturally and linguistically similar. This is reflected in Han_Sichuan having more Liangdao1 relative to Liangdao2, and also having some Miaozigou (Manchuria Neolithic)

    - The fits in the first table are better (lower distance) because they use Yellow_River_MN, which is more directly ancestral to modern-day Han Chinese than any of the other "northern" Neolithic populations (Boshan, Xiaojingshan, Miaozigou).

    - Xiaojingshan in the second table is a proxy for additional NE Asian-like ancestry found among Northern Han and Yangtze Delta Han that Boshan doesn't pick up.

    - It isn't surprising Han_Shanxi has some Caucasian admixture, given historical Turkic invasions of Northern China and Anthroscape members' observations about the physical appearance of Inland Northern China Han Chinese.

    可能对这几个遗址的地理位置不了解,亮岛古人发现于远离大陆的贝丘遗址中,不是南方水稻农业人群,庙子沟文 化位于内蒙古中部地区,不是满洲新石器时代。
