    My heritage matches can be <7cMs
    Ancestry there can be matches like 6cMs across 2 segments

    I usually only look at medium confidence ones .............although I have a low confidence one with my maternal grandmother sisters line , now in USA, 100% confirmed by both sides

    Are you talking about discovery settings? ............I set mine at #4 ....#5 is the highest

    No, they can't? For all of my family, the cut-off point is at 8cm.
    Recent ancestry: 2/4 Central Moldova (Orhei district), 1/4 Southern Moldova (Cahul district), 1/4 Northern Moldova (Briceni district)

    first thing you need to change is this

    under, matches by source ......click wheel on right hand side and open Discovery settings ......I set mine at 4 , but I had it at 3 for over a year

    then

    in DNA matches.....sort by ...shared segments ( this setting you can play around with )

    then your "review new DNA matches " icon will work from these 2 setting changes


    what you should see with the setting "shared segment" your siblings are closer to you then your parents ...............this is how you pick up "cousins" easier
