    Arrow Babysitter Pregnant (Two Suspects)

The year is 1963 (Christmas break) Kay (18 years old) is home from college Christmas Break. She is asked to babysit for a family her parents are close friends with for years. The Winston family is made up of
Father Bob age 50, Wife Peno age 45, Son Tim age 20, Son Stu age 5, Daughter Karen age 19, Daughter Kim age 23.

Kay discovers she is now pregnant the following February. She has a boyfriend in Chicago where she is enrolled in college, tells him the baby is his. They Marry three weeks later before she shows. Ironically most of the Winston family attends (one of them is the real father of the baby)

Life moves forward, baby (War Horse) grows up strong, loved and happy. Kay ditches her boyfriend 4 years into the marriage and remarries. At age 52 Kay dies of cancer. Takes her secret to the grave.

Last month, War Horse (age 55), Winston son Stu (age 60) and Karen (age 69) get a 23&X genetic test done for medical history and there are Sibling matches. Stu is a 23.2% match and Karen 21.5% match to War Horse. They are half brother and sister. Stu and War Horse call each order talk, laugh and exchange pictures. The two look like each other (definitely brothers).

Winston family comes to grip with the posibility Dad had sex with the 18 year old Kay, and they decide to become silent. Communication ends.

Who’s the father of War Horse?

Is their father Bob (now deceased)
Or is it Son Tim who was 20 years old in 1968 and home from the Navy over Christmas?

Can the genetic matches of sibling 23.2% and 21.5% match indicate a match only to their father or possibly their brother could be the father?

This is absolutely true story, names are changed only.

Stu and Karen are either your aunt and uncle or your half siblings. If their mother tests and she shares 25% with you then Tim is the father. If she shares less than 1% then Bob is the father.

If the mother hasn’t tested or won’t test then see if you have any close relationships to Karen and Stu’s mothers side the family. For example, Stu and Karen have matches on their mom side that you don’t or do (They both share more than 1.5% with a maternal side relative).

If Stu and Karen have a close maternal cousin match and you don’t, then Bob is the father. If you also have a close match to this maternal relative then Tim is the father.

Is the older brother, Tim, still alive? If so he must know the truth.

Yup. So map out Bob and Peno's ancestry as best you can. I'm assuming Bob and Peno have similar genetic ancestry as well. But if Bob is a colonial American through and through and Peno's mother was an Italian immigrant and you have unplaced matches that are Italian that could be a clue too, especially if her ancestry comes from a specific region and so do your match's ancestry

Play around with the family tree builder at 23&me and put Stu and Karen in the two locations and see how they guess at other genetic cousins and see if that's anything.

You can also test or load your DNA to other places and focus on matches elsewhere that aren't on your maternal side. If you find a lot that go back to Bob but never find any for Peno that could be a clue.

I'd say Tim is the likely culprit. If he is alive, just ask him to tell the truth, stating that you are going to find out via DNA anyway.

This is like a Maury Povich or Jeremy Kyle episode.

I had to check out 3 NPE's (1 paternal, 300 years ago) and 2 maternal (bit nearer, 100 and 150 years ago). Closer it is, more impact.

Tim, if still alive, would hold the key.

DNA testing has been helping so much to uncover stories which otherwise would have remained hidden. Here is another story which 23andme (and other labs) uncovered:

In some instances, state prosecutors said, Dr. Cline even told women that he was using their husbands’ sperm but provided his own.
