"Two of the three Megiddo outliers are a brother and a sister (Family 4, I2189 and I2200)"

"The two outliers from Megiddo (three including the sibling pair) provide additional evidence for the timing and origin of gene flow into the region. The three were found in close proximity to each other at Level K-10, which is radiocarbon dated to 1581–1545 BCE (domestic occupation) and 1578–1421 BCE (burials; both 1 s) (Martin et al., 2020, Toffolo et al., 2014), whereas the bone of one of the three (I10100) was directly dated (1688–1535 BCE, 2Σ). The reason these individuals are distinct from the rest is that their Caucasus- or Zagros-related genetic component is much higher, reflecting ongoing gene flow into the region from the northeast (Table S2; Figure S2. The Neolithic Levant component is 22%–27% in I2200, and 9%–26% in I10100. These individuals are unlikely to be first generation migrants, as strontium isotope analysis on the two outlier siblings (I2189 and I2200) (Methods S1A) suggests that they were raised locally. This implies that the Megiddo outliers might be descendants of people who arrived in recent generations. Direct support for this hypothesis comes from the fact that in sensitive qpAdm modeling (including closely related sets of outgroups), the only working northeast source population for these two individuals is the contemporaneous Armenia_MLBA, whereas the earlier Iran_ChL and Armenia_EBA do not fit (Table S2). The addition of Iran_ChL to the set of outgroups does not change this result or cause model failure. Finally, no other Levantine group shows a similar admixture pattern (Table S2). This shows that some level of gene flow into the Levant took place during the later phases of the Bronze Age and suggests that the source of this gene flow was the Caucasus."

We know that Armenia_MLBA had R1b-M269.

    I2220 mt U3b
    I10100 mt T2
2189 does not even need Armenia MLBA at all, I don't know what the Y DNA is for that but it looks Steppe MLBA related completely, I won't be surprised at all if it is R1a

ARM MBA is nothing but a red herring because it has shared Steppe and Iranian elements, ditto Areni which is far too old to be applicable here at this time. I think with ARM MBA it would pass in qpAdm in the same way it did with SPGT but the all 3 sample can be modeled easily without any Yamnaya linked sources , also all 3 , esp o2 form a cline with some TKM IA kind of population. I would be surprised if 2189 was NOT R1a, the proportions are akin to what I have seen in modern SA populations.

    ARM MBA:
The native Caucasus-related ancestry goes up to 61.4%, and BMAC/Iran-related ancestry (Tepe Hissar) goes up to 11.0%. The European Neolithic is 14%, and interestingly, we see EHG-related Nordic Late Neolithic at 6.4%. Steppe-related Vonyuchka Eneolithic by itself is just 1.4%,
The West Siberia Neolithic at 1.6%

What's the fascination of doing deep-elemental runs with G25? It is not intended for that. G25 is for finding proximate sources, that is its great strength.
Doing deep-elemental runs with G25 is like trying to use a laser as a hammer, not the appropriate use of the tool, not the appropriate tool for the job.

Just so the conversation doesn't get lost in a bloated mega-thread, I've moved the tangent concerning the origins of the Armenian people to a separate thread:
