Is Global25 better than most comercial testing at determining ancestry?

In other words, should I use Global25 to determine my ancestry for accurate percentages?

Once again, as stated by others in your other threads, its highly unlikely you're going to get accurate percentages from any test or calculator. Is the G25 good? Yes it is. Is it going to give you an accurate breakdown of your 9 known ancestries? No its not. You need to lower your expectations.
Ancestry on paper: English, Scottish, Irish, Welsh, Croatian, Ashkenazi, Polish and Māori.

Given your ancestry, no test will be 100% accurate at all. The best thing you can do is to compare different results in different tests and calculators and then make sense of them based on your known genealogy. I have a similar problem and I don't even have 9 very similar ancestries like you and I got different and completely unrelated estimates in many tests.

Global 25 is good, but it's not going to operate miracles in the current state of autosomal technology.

My dad has a hard time with breaking down his ancestries (his closest Eurogenes population is at 9 distance). G25 gives him a reasonable breakdown, this one is K=50:
    Target: cvoltsdad
    Distance: 1.3792% / 0.01379193
    41.8 North_Sea_Germanic
    23.8 Northwest_European
    12.4 Polish_Ukrainian
    12.0 Balto_Slavic_South
    9.0 Basque
    0.6 Uralic
    0.2 Amerindian
    0.2 Scando_Germanic

I find it is more specific in breaking down our regions compared to most commercial testing (and it helps that the breakdown is more than just 4 populations, like in gedmatch oracles). It is silly to expect every calculator to differentiate between some nw euro populations, for example. Looking for patterns and knowing to not take them toooooooo seriously will help you paint an overall better map of your ancestry. 23andme, G25, and Eurogenes have been the most promising so far for me.
