Question about MyHeritage DNA vs Living DNA Autosomal SNPs

Why did MyHeritageDNA v2 lower their SNPs while Living DNA v2 added more?

I'm confused. I want to test with both companies soon and am wondering why this is happening.

they wanted to eliminate the "low-confidence" matches as the % success is very small .....................while the "medium-confidence " % is very high
