Wait Mirassi to Awan is a big jump. No one noticed that? Not to mention Mirassis look different (Dalit) from Biradari types in general.

I don't know any further. And yeah, his stock saw a sudden rise when he got married to MNS' daughter. And on his Wiki page there are two DoBs for him. That suggests to me there is something funny about him.
Likewise, for the FM, SMQ, I was told that he was a Musalli, believed by many to be a langah Jatt and yet claims to be a Makhdoum, descendant of a Peer or one of his Nizamis.
Looks, well yeah, to an extent, but you cannot generalise.

whoever told you about SMQ being mussali is making stuf but its known fact that his ancestors were traitor and sided with british and aiding against Gugera Movement and fredom struggle of cenrtal bar jat tribes.
his ancestors were responsible for death of many freedom fighters like
    ahmed khan kharal
    Muhamand Khan kathia
    Mokha Vehniwal
and many more allied tribe leaders in freedom struggle . british awarded wit title of makhdoom for their loyality

Well, how could the Brits give him the title of Makhdoum???

What about the other Multani Makhdoum, Jawed Hashmi? I heard he has some genuine Nizami ancestry.

As far as I'm aware, the family enjoy the title Makhdum by virtue of their Gaddin Nasheen Sufi ancestry and association with the darbar of Hazrat Bahauddin Zikriya and Shah Rukne Alam.

I know the SMQ family well (some of its members were mureeds of my great-grandfather) and I think it was the title 'Nawab' that was conferred on them by the British.

On an aside, I think Makhdum is used quite widely in the Seraiki belt by the Piri/Zamindari families. My own father and grandfather have Makhdum written before their personal names which I assume dates from the twelve years we lived in Bahwalpur State during the 1880s/90s.

Using your coordinates (based on your genome), I modeled you using modern and ancient populations. The first model is using moderns (you are closest to the Khatri-Kohistani-Sindhi-Kamboj cluster followed by the Northern Pashtun one from Dir/Swat) and the second two are using relevant ancients from South Asia, Central Asia and the Eurasian Steppe.

You can mess around with whatever calcs you want here:

    http://g25vahaduo.genetics.ovh/

Click on a calculator and then click target. Copy and paste your scaled coordinates (or unscaled if calc says to) in the target section. Then go to distance, single or multi and hit run all or the last "button" which should show you coordinate name. Both work.
