Composition of mtDNA L lineages in the Brazilian Amazon

The following frequencies have been provided by Carvalho et al. (2008): http://www.scielo.br/scielo.php?pid=...i_arttext#fig1

    mtDNA L3 (L3b/L3d/L3e/L3f/L3h) [33/80]
    - mtDNA L3e [19/80]
    mtDNA L2 (L2a/L2b/L2c) [27/80]
    - mtDNA L2a [18/80]
    mtDNA L1 (L1b/L1c) [18/80]
    - mtDNA L1b [10/80]
    mtDNA L0 (L0a1/L0a2) [2/80]

Summary: L3e, L2a and L1b showed the strongest representation within this study. Carvalho did not specify any subclades.
