    Ust-Ishim's lineage survived?

Don't know if this has been discussed before, but it's an interesting find that I wanted to share.
In the FTDNA public ydnta tree there's a Russian K2a* sample that shares only 2 SNP with all other extant K2a lineages (NO and K-Y28394). This Russian K2a* is apparently negative for 6 other SNPs that define the ancestral clade of NO and K-Y28394.

I think there's a high likelihood that this new branch shares additional SNPs with Ust-Ishim's clade and probably descends from same or similar early North Eurasian population.

FTDNA is now also using some ancient samples to improve their tree, so that one "Russian" K2a* sample is Ust'-Ishim. Yana samples are also in the tree.

Do you know if there is a list somewhere?
Of all the countries, this is possibly the most beautiful. All that is beautiful and can be rarely seen in
other countries can be seen everywhere here... Here live the people who wear the cleanest clothes and prepare the

Unfortunately there's no such list yet. But I don't think there are a lot of them, until today I only knew for sure about Yana samples, because level P284 FTDNA introduced several months ago could not be defined without those two samples (see here). They should at least label ancient samples differently, like YFull does.

Fascinating. Yes, they should absolutely label them somehow. They look like normal matches in the block tree. At least the SNP listings look different from normal people since they don't seem to have hundreds of private SNPs.
