We will find out if it's real if someone who has received their results in the last day or upcoming days is or isn't on the latest update. I've experienced first hand that you can get the update before everyone else if you receive your results at the correct timing (one of the accounts I managed had the updated Neanderthal before it was released to everyone), so I can't say if it's fake or not. Screenshots are not proof, it takes a few minutes to make completely fake results by editing the HTML, no photoshop skills required.
    Code:
    23abc_AncestryDNA_scaled,0.110408,0.151314,-0.0290383,-0.0507112,0.0018465,-0.0156179,-0.00305514,-0.00138456,-0.00899905,0.00911181,0.00243583,-0.00149867,-0.00431116,0.00344057,-0.00773606,0.00106072,0.00195576,0.00152026,0.00251396,-0.00550264,-0.00786113,-0.00197844,0.0025882,0.00168699,0.000957998

This is for example what I've done just now on you.

Trying to prove that you've got the latest version on 23andme? No problem

I quite like grapefruit, so nice choice. I'm not saying I agree that its legitimate, as per my last post, because the dates don't make sense. I'm personally not concerned if its fake. The MyHeritage update is almost a year late, and FTDNA's may be released sometime before 2030. As a community, these companies have turned us into patient people with (almost) zero expectations.
Ancestry on paper: English, Scottish, Irish, Welsh, Croatian, Ashkenazi, Polish and Māori.

Not so sure about the patient part however

I think someone needs to send a email to 23&me to find out if this algorithm update is legitimate that’s the only way to know if it’s true

It looks legit in that case. Will they eventually release it to other versions?

It's true, she shared the link to her report and I saw it myself. I won't post it here, as it's got a full name.

So some reference populations have gained samples, others have deducted some. Looks like many they've scrapped and replaced many. Was hoping to see more, but so long as they are better quality representatives maybe it's alright.

Version 5.9 (new) to the left, version 5.2 (current for most of us) to the right
