This is a new study which focus on Southern Tunisian populations. There are some interesting new samples. Especially the R‘Baya samples look very interesting because they seem to derive a majority of their ancestry from Arabian populations.

Yeah they seem to have retained significant Arabian ancestry. Southern Tunisian Arabs in general retained higher Arabian ancestry according to the study.

I always figured the Eurasian back migration was concentrated along the coast. (Did they bring any ydnas besides E though?). On a related note is there any DNA from Moorish period Spain and North Africa?
