    Is J-FT96715(J-Μ267) associated with Cohen related lineages?

    Can someone help me with this?There is a relative of me with this specific branch with ancestry from northeast anatolia(Trabzon),he is wondering if it has any connection with Jewry.Told me to make this specific thread.

    I see. I am wondering with what movements/populations have to do In anatolia.Btw how you received? You are fully English?

    Yes, I see English. P58 branches are from the Middle East. J1 P58 and other types of J1 probably moved to the Caucasus during the Neolithic. FT96715 has "cousins" in the tree from Azerbaijan, Adygeya, and Chechnya, so your friend's Y-DNA is basically native to the Trabzon region.
