These must be the same the people from whom my grandmother got so much of her Slavic DNA. Her roots were in the Dresden & Chemnitz areas of Saxony just east of Peissen in Saxony-Anhalt state. Possibly Sorbs?

That is my response to KRA 011 and 003 maps. They are very like her ethnicity predictions. (Or at least that part of my own that seems to be hers.)
My grandmother certainly did have some Sorb origins, but she came from just north of the Middle Oder - now Lubaskie I think, but there had been movements into the region around 1800 so maybe further away a little before.

I see you have me on your list of matches. KRA003 is estimated at 1750 TMRCA for me as well. I have spent a good deal of time trying to trace back my ydna, in an effort to see the migration or movement. Assuming Michał's theory of the Slavic homeland is correct, R-YP263 originated likely in the area of that homeland. This can be seen by those with ancestry from West, South and East Slavs. The next subclade, yours or R-Y2912, has your ancestor and the other man who has R-Y2912 in the area of what is south-eastern Poland, with a TMRCA for me at about 1700 years. The next subclade, R-Y2921, at a TMRCA of about 1400 years has migrated west, to the area between Wroclaw and Leipzig. This would correspond to the Prague Culture during the Migration Period. The next subclade, R-Y2914, at a TMRCA of about 1400 years as well, is in the same area. The match I have there traces his ancestry to the Dresden area. My subclade, R-Y20359, currently shared with one other man, appears to have then moved north into the area of Kashubia/Kociewie, with a TMRCA of about only 700 years. Those with R-YP263 that seems to be of West Slavic ancestry appears to be mainly now Germanic around the Baltic Sea, perhaps Germanized Polabians? I am nor sure if the Sorbs are considered Polabian.

Your similarity model supports the veracity of my post above. Following the migration or movement of my matches, the area of your your subclade, Y2912, is given a score of 85 or similarity. The high score is located right where the matches who terminate their subclades with Y2921 and Y2914 find their ancestral home. Then there is an 86 score where my subclade, Y20359, finally came to rest. The other high score of 87, found in western Ukraine, perhaps it is where YP263 originated?

Perhaps KRA001 and KRA003 were siblings, or father-son. They both are dated to the same time period, approximately 1058-1223, and were buried near each other.

It seems KRA001 and KRA003 will form new clade Y126915 below YP263. They apparently share 28 SNPs, which seems way too many.
