With this model gulf Arabs and Egyptians score considerable Iberomaurusian around the 20% mark and most Italians North and South now score traces of this. With earlier models similar to this (save for the inclusion of simulated ghost popns) only really North Africans, Sicilians, Maltese, some Iberians and some Western Jews would score Iberomaurusian. What do you make of that? This model is probably revealing other things that might interest others, but if I wanted to hone in on deep North African ancestry I'm not sure I'd use this model. Perhaps it's not splitting effectively between Natufian and Iberomaurusian due to individual sample references and not sample averages? Not sure.

Second version is much better: no Natufian, no Iberian

    A word from the author
Proto-Natufian: Natufian without ANA/Taforalt. Possibly what the Kebarans or Ahmarians were like.
It’s meant to hone in on deep ancestry. Proto natufain is designed to stop the overlap between Ibero and natufian, because natufian is mixed with Ibero. As for gulf Arabs they have relatively high distances so I would assume they are still Missing a key component.

As seen above their is a threshold before you start displaying Ibero ancestry depending on how much natufian you have. Some of course have ibero and no natufian ancestry.
