Is there druze dna in me? I am from romania.

In myorigins 3.0 i score <2% druze and <1% northem levant and i am from south east romania cin the galati county.. It is a recent admixture from ottoman empire or it is more ancient, like from the byzantine?

In Romania it may be minor Jewish ancestry.

I also have 2% of askenazi jewish in ftdna. But the druze and levant i have no idea where it comes from. In ancestry dna i saw many romanians score around 2 % middle east. Same in myorigins 1.0 i saw many romanians score some percentage of west middle east.

I've scored so many different categories on commercial websites that I don't trust anything they say. If there aren't any relative matches associated with the %, I wouldn't trust it. I also score Druze/Levant/various Jew categories on FTDNA and have never matched a single full Levantine/Jewish individual on any commercial site.

Yes it is Ashkenazi ancestry, user Claudio with Ashkenazi ancestry scores that Middle Eastern categories with Ashkenazi on FTDNA too. I noticed people with distant Jewish ancestry often score Middle East, while people with full or half of this ancestry do not score or score very little of it

I have never seen Romanians with Middle Eastern or Western Asian on AncestryDNA, I saw many Bulgarians and Romanians on AncestryDNA. Bulgarians score Greece category and Balkans category, while Romanians score Balkans and Eastern Europe

Yes i have found a jewish name on my great grandmother. On my heritage, i score 3.0 % askenazi jew and 5.2 middle east. On gedmatch eutest and jtest, i score between 4 to 5% middle east. Is this normal for romanians to score a bit of middle east? If you look on the genetic history of europe admixture photo. The orange line is middle east admixture. Many europeans have it.

I googled it and i saw many romanians score 2% middle east and also a bit of caucasus. There is a 23andme thread in this site named Romanian 23andme. Some score very little percentage of jewish. Others score a bit of middle east and west asia. I saw on that thread somoene score 6% of west middle east in myorigins1.0. Look at youtube bessarabianstory where he post his gedmatch, myheritage, 23andme,etc.

I saw many Romanians have Anatolian on 23andme, because they have high Turkic admix

First of all MyOrigins 3.0 is mediocre at best. Secondly, these % are in trace level. Thirdly, most Romanians and other balkanites have western asian influence. Hence, this result reflects MENA admixture and it’s likely not jewish.
