Does Anyone know how to produce his father's approximate kit/results using my friend's and his mother's data ?



What kind of shifts the people comprising the Istanbul average have ?
The first and last model would be on point if the Greek_Istanbul+Chechen and Andros+Macedonia_Thrace+Lezgin respectively can make an acceptable proxy of her Milos+Karaburun (Καραμπουρνα) ancestry.

I've never seen a genetic result from Milos though

I used the references from Ikaria and Samos that Greekscolar provided. It is possibly a proxy for Chios.

Could he (the biological father) possibly fit in an at least partial Paxoi/Kerkyra profile ?
Searching through his mother's family finder results on familytreedna there is one distant relative which lists on its ancestral surnames a person with ancestry from those islands... An old neighbor of her family happened to share the same surname AND ancestry...The children of whom used to play/be friends with my friend's mother and uncle back when they were kids..

The really high Greek/South Italian + a little Northern European + a bit of West Asian looks like a NE Aegean profile on MH to me. The only 100% Greek/Southern Italian folks I have seen were Ikarians, and my family scores from 75-90%.

If you want to PM me the GEDmatch kit number, I can compare to the lists I have for NE_Aegean islands. The cousin matches should tell the tale.

PM sent back, we may be able to get somewhere with GEDmatch on this one.

Basic modeling seems to confirm what others are saying. You can see the mixture of island and mainland (but possible from NE Aegean-like admixture) with a shift towards Anatolia.

Eurogenes and G25 are from the same person so that explains thier leaning, but what data is used for her to plot differently? Why would she plot differently?

I didn't mean that she should plot differently. We are trying to figure out her biological father's autosomal and I just make some hypotheses.

I don’t think G25 and Eurogenes being from the same person means anything. What does mean something is the samples used. If someone ran Eurogenes K13 and plotted the results they would plot one way, and that’s that because the sampling is static. But if someone tried to mimic a K13 with G25, they might use different samples for certain categories, thus possibly shifting the plot one way or another. How significant the shift is depends.
