    Post Project update: R1b basal subclades Z2103 PF7589 PF7562 M73 V1636 PF6323 BY14355

The project subgroups had fallen behind quite a bit. That's good news in a way because the progress made by Big Y700 testers has led to greater discovery of tree branching. There were also errors due to subclade predictions based on STRs.
I have reorganized the subgroups to reflect an objective base, SNP results, and a natural sequence, the haplotree branch sort order. Every branch* now has a subgroup that is positioned on the Y Classic project report based on the position on the FTDNA haplotree.

    * I've done the details breakdowns of branching for the basal subclades of R1b but not (yet) for R1b-L51. L51 is where the large western European subclades of P312 and U106 sit. DSM, I'll email you.

Let me know if you see errors. Please invite your Y67 and Y111 matches to the project, particularly if they have done SNP testing. I will work on STR analysis but I want to keep that separate from SNP based subgrouping.

I changed the title of the project, not the URL, to "R Z2103 & R1b Early Subclades". That should make the Z2103 folks happy. The bulk of the project is Z2103.

The other subclades, like PF7589, PF7562, M73, V1636, PF6323 (where V88 is) and BY14355 are still important and will continue to have the detailed subgroupings too.

Have there been any people or ancient samples found to be BY14355+ PH155-? I have not been aware of any cases.
