Massive migrations from Steppes to Bronze Age India was indeed a myth?

Massive migrations from Steppes to Bronze Age India was indeed a myth. We have gathered Ancient DNA evidence now. The findings will be out next year. Thanks to the great efforts of scientists from India, USA, UK and others. Warm Greetings for upcoming 2021!

Ahaha yes I saw this. And I used to think Chapelle was the greatest comedian.

Although I do hope they have found some AASI, ashmound, Balangoda man etc.

obviously i very much agree with Lazaridis here and good to see some calm and logical rebutal of these fringe theories. I would only nitpick that Z93 not formed in the Bronze Age but already in the Neolithic somewhere around 4000 B.C (Z93 in Sredny Stog around 4000 B.C and Romania BA around 3000-3500 B.C).

Any theories or genetic "studies" about Z93 or even Z93>L657 being present before 2000 B.C in South Asia or even forming there are comedy stuff for me. There is a bigger chance to find R1b-Z2103 or even R1b-L51 in South Asia during this period (Afanasievo steppe wave) than any Z93, which not even seem to be present in any of the BMAC or Central Asian genomes around 2000-2500 B.C.

LOL. India has seen multiple waves of West Eurasian migrations. These people just need to get over it.

I think the use of the word “massive” here is an attempt to win a debate that has been lost. The word “infinite” might be even more effective here.

The problem is even when no significant steppe signal will be found at some sites, replacement could be massive when these Indo-Aryans were mostly BMAC-like. The same kind of argument was already used to claim there was no (massive) Neolithic migration to India from Gedrosia/Iran because ancient Indian samples have no EEF-like signal unlike Iran_Chalc but they again ignored that Neolithic groups in East Iran and Gedrosia were very low in EEF/Barcin_N-like ancestry themselves.

I'd guess because there were already other agricultural people in their way unlike what they encountered in Europe.
