I don't understand any of this except I have no American Indian or East Asian ancestry, and the East and West African has some no calls because the Ancestry dot com file is incomplete in its SNP analysis.

I checked some of the ‘African’ SNPs, and many of them seem to be present in Europe so are not clear cut indicators.

Several of us seem to have rs80269044CC, yet no American ancestry.

Just going by my understanding of ancient human evolution everybody should have something, at least one coming from East Africa.

I think these are variants Africans commonly have though, whereas non Africans typically have the other variants.

But a lot of people seem to be getting a few of these SNPs, even Northern Europeans like myself. I suppose it would theoretically be possible for someone to have none of these variants by chance. But they would still have inherited a lot from their East African ancestors.
