    It appears that they are working on even older samples as well(neolithic and mesolithic)!
    Though it could be a while before we get something on that.

    Similarities in grave styles, considered alongside differences in morbidity and mortality and archaeological evidence suggesting that individuals from the R cemetery were of higher economic status, inspired the hypothesis that Kulubnarti was home to a culturally homogenous population divided into two sociallystratified groups that lived separately and utilized separate burial grounds21-23,26.
    The individuals buried at the R cemetery do not carry hg J so they were definitely not Nubians/Sudanese. It looks like R cemetery was reserved for Egyptian colonists and S cemetery for Nubians.

    What makes you link Y-DNA J with Nubians instead of Egyptians?
