    Yes, that's true. I have searched on immigration museum and I've saw about half of the Syrians have French surnames or names, so it match my grandma's information. He was came from Syria and he was from full or half French origin. She also has scored a good amount Scottish, Welsh and English. It suggests some NW French ancestor.

    More realistic I think since my mom doesn't have any close Iberian ancestor known.
