I asked Arza on Eurogenes about the SampleID of the samples many of them look Pre-Slavic but some like this sample rather not.

I came pretty much to the same conclusion with my most simplified first check calculator for early Medieval samples:

    Target: Migration:LIB11
    Distance: 3.6356% / 0.03635586

He looks like a three way mix of Slavic-like, Germanic-like and a Balkan-Mediterranean shift. Another interesting aspect is, that this might be one of the first samples coming close to Iron Age local Czech-Polish (geographically) people, related to Urnfield networks and the Lusatian culture. If you know my theories with respect to Eastern Urnfield, Daco-Thracians and E-V13 in particular, its highly interesting that exactly this guy is actually E-V13. Because Daco-Thracians and E-V13 in my theory come from Gáva-Holigrady and Belegiš II-Gava primarily, with a centre in South Eastern Poland, Eastern Slovakia and Northern Romania, bordering Balto-Slavic related cultures to the East of them.

So the real question for LIB11 is, is this a recent mix, the result of some mixture which happened just some generations ago (like half-Slavic/Sarmatian plus one quarter Germanic and one quarter Balkan-Roman provincial), or is this a representative of the local Eastern Central European people which survived up to this point in the region.

Is there a way to differentiate between these two options of ancient local or recent mix?

One way to go might be to follow his patrilineage, though this remains uncertain, because the patrilineage doesn't need to be that informative for his ancestral make-up. If it would be a recent Southern Balkan-related subclade, it would be an argument though.

Is the BAM not out yet? Only 5 Y-DNA results were posted out of 100+ samples. I doubt there were only 5 males in that sample group.

It's good enough. They didn't treat the FASTQ files before uploading them to the ENA, but even after trimming the adapters, removing duplicates, and filtering out the low-quality/unpaired reads, the autosomal coverage I got is more than satisfactory ( 50%+ coverage for 1240k SNPs even for the worst samples).

There are only 10-12 individuals in that whole study, look at the sample alias column there are several different fastq pairs for each individual.

Hmm. I thought someone said 100+ samples. Unless there are various studies each examining samples through the Prague-Korchak complex?

Distance is the same as for the other Early Medieval Moravian samples from 9th century in my 'Moravian' calc:

    Target: Migration:1
    Distance: 3.8206% / 0.03820602
    62.8 ProtoSlavic_Moravia-POH28_POH13
    36.6 Anc_Germanic_Moravia-LIB2
    0.6 Anc_Roman_Moravia-LIB3

Other (2, 4,....) Germanic shifted samples have bigger distance values.

Judging from the distance, LIB11 also looks Early Medieval Moravian (9th century).

LIB11 is from Břeclav - Líbivá, Czech Republic, Hrob 15
But I can't find description of this grave.

This set of samples (green) seems to be more Germanic/Scandinavian shifted than the other set of samples (red) from the medieval Slavic period
Wait, are these these a poorer quality version of the same individuals, or a completely different set of individuals?

They seem to be Goths from Kowalewko in Poland. KKO.

    =====

    PS:

I think this is smashing for people who claimed that Goths did not come to Poland from Sweden/Gotland/Jutland across the Baltic Sea, but from Germany by foot:
