I think the samples coming in give more credit to my hypothesis of an association of Eastern and especially South Eastern Urnfield groups (primarily but not exclusively with Channeled Ware, Gava-derived), early Iron weapon and tool making industries, with the spread of E-V13. In almost every region affected by these movements, from which we have a handful of samples after the EIA, E-V13 is popping up, while it was absent before. Question is just whether the finding in Masłomęcz points to a local Lusatian, an Eastern Celtic or a Gothic-East Germanic origin, in theory everything seems possible.

Genetic diversity of Mas-VBIA was a result of two demographic events:
    1) Migration of Goths east of Vistula and admixture with local populations,
    2) Migration of the admixed populations towards Black Sea, admixture with the local steppe populations and back migration of the Chernyakhov people to the Maslomecz

Deep sequencing is more informative, this one: https://gen3553.pagesperso-orange.fr/ADN/similitude.htm

So you can see that those locals from Masłomęcz must have had a lot of Balto-Slavic drift. We also have in announcements two Z280+ samples from Masłomęcz. I wonder if N1a is related to an autosomal Scandinavian or Baltic profile?
