    Something went quite wrong here, at least for the Y-Haplogroup calls, ELW004 - ELW007, ELW009 - ELW011, ELW014 - ELW016, ELW019, ELW021 - ELW022, ELW034 and ELW039 are women according to the supplementary Data 1.

    Those are false positives as they have a really small amount of snps.

    Actually, D4q has also been prevalent in mainland China, Taiwan, and South Korea. So it could either be an Eastern or Central Asian origin possibly. (There were also a few FTdna testers from Germany, Poland, Netherlands, and the United States who belonged to D4q)
