Noticed I have a 100% Peninsular Arab match, how could this be?

It says we could share 3rd great grandparents, we share 0.38% of DNA, or I believe 28 cms. With this 5.9 update, he scores 100% Peninsular Arab. But I have an old screenshot of his old 5.2 results too. We have nothing in common, how could this be?

My mother also score middle east like on g25. It is often arabian between 6% to 8% or bedouin around 3% to 4%. She is from Romania by the way. Also your arabian could be from the ashkenazi side or maybe italian.

G25 showed western Asian regions for me too, but nothing Arabian. It was mostly southern Russian regions and Georgian. I was just scrolling though my dna relatives and I noticed a name that stood out. Found it strange how we didn't share a single ethnicity.

Jewish ancestry, that's the connection...23andme wrongly labels it as European, hence the confusion
Recent ancestry: 2/4 Central Moldova (Orhei district), 1/4 Southern Moldova (Cahul district), 1/4 Northern Moldova (Briceni district)

You won't get very useful results if you run your coordinates with the full set of samples. You should try using some of the custom calculators you can find here on AG, or select your own reduced set of samples. In any case you should always take the results with a grain of salt.

Remind me what your ancestry is according to your paper-trail genealogy?

If not for 23andmes Ashkenazi Jewish category, roughly how else would they label it in your opinion?

-Paternal Grandpa is fully German possible some distant British
Paternal Grandma is half Slovak, half German (East)
Maternal Grandpa is half Jewish half Anglo American
Maternal Grandma is Anglo American with recent French Canadian and English and Irish ancestry.

    So a but of mix.
