yes the same coords at #1458
the mp value looks like to depend on the imperial ref. used but since the stanford paper was kind enough to finestructure their ancient samples we know that the imperials (ironage-neareast cline) fall into two clusters with one more near east pulled (though cognates on the dendrogram) than the other, and so it depends from which end of said cline the local ref. comes from as the rule seems to be the more east-med the more mp

the truth is prob. in the middle since both clusters have their pressence throughout the roman period; with ref. C6 medieval etruria gets 8% longobrdards(north) and a northward shift between late-antiquity and early medieval is above all a dead giveaway for the migration period and in the paper their best source was indeed longobards(mp)
(there might also be add more provincials like noricum ripense 488AD)

I don't oppose 8% or even 10% but anything higher is not, imo, accurate.
I think Northern Italy has around 15%-20% Germanic admixture. Most Langobards and Goths settled in the North so the Y-Dna basically agrees with history.
Let's wait and see the shift in Veneto before and after the Migration period. I think the result will be the same as the Y-Dna, around 20% and it peaks there.

Any idea about Normans in Southern Italy numerous they were?

Northern Italy north of the river Po certainly can have 15 to 20pc Germanic especially towards the Alps but the southern Po valley (Emilia-Romagna) and Tuscany are probably no more than 10pc Germanic as you suggest.
In the Romagna proper, part of the old East-Roman Exarchate of Ravenna, the Germanic element is probably more Ostrogothic and Late Empire Germanic foederati than Langobard.

actually the Ostrogoth capital was Ravenna and the Lombard capital was Pavia ...............Ostrogoths where in Italy first and the lombards later defeated them and took over

Ostrogoths brought more people into Italy than the lombards did

Ostrogoths origin is Scania and Gotland Sweden ....but settled on the north side of the black sea for 400 years before going to Italy at the fall of the western Roman empire

not sure if Visigoths went to Italy before going to Spain or went directly to Spain ( they say the visigoths are the purest ethnic Goths )

It's an average of the Collegno samples that resemble mordern Scandinavians, presumably the full Lombards, since according to their own history they came from southern Scandinavia.

not sure if Visigoths went to Italy before going to Spain or went directly to Spain ( they say the visigoths are the purest ethnic Goths )
It was the Byzantine general Narses who finally broke Ostrogothic power, not the Lombards.

Alaric who sacked Rome in 410 was a Visigoth but his tribe moved on to Gaul and Spain.
