Earlier it was reported that there were about 40 skeletons of the Nabateans From Mada'in Salih
It will be analyzed but no results have been published yet
According to the results of the ancient and modern Levant
Most likely most of them are from YSC0000076

is there a reason for this ? such as damaged / low quality DNA or is it simply taking a bit more time ?

There are reasons to suspect that the Near Eastern gladiator from York was Nabatean.

Low quality, most likely. I hope I'm wrong on this.

Ah, yes, the Near Eastern gladiator from York, the only one of those York gladiators at MyTrueAncestry that I do not match. I always thought he was Egyptian, for some reason.

Isotopic data for this sample(3DRIF*26) is most consistent with Egypt:

    https://static-content.springer.com/...ESM417_ESM.pdf , page 34

The best fit for 3DRIF*-26’s carbon and nitrogen isotope data are therefore currently human populations from the Lower Nile Valley in Egypt, possibly also from Nubia, although a greater C4*component in diet of most individuals and relatively low δ15N in human groups that best fit the time*framemakes the latter appear less likely.

what is isotopic data and and how would he be from nubia if he has very little African like DNA?
