Well, let's see; I'm also most interested in the painter, especially for my more mixed family members, although I'm cautious because such a feature as far as I know requires a segment-based approach (like 23andMe) i.o. a calculator approach, as MyOrigins looks like at the moment and that one needs a lot of fixing, like not severely underestimating east-Asian admixture and putting it in an "East Indian" sinkhole as I've seen by more testers (that's one example, in non-mixed West-Europeans, it seems more accurate). For admins, I would like an interface that works a bit faster in order to better work on the projects.

Neither do I -- but that just gives FTDNA a better chance to exceed them.
Besides British-German-Catalan, ancestry includes smaller amounts of French, Irish, Swiss, Choctaw & another NA tribe, possibly Catawba. Avatar picture is: my father, his father, & his father's father; baby is my eldest brother.

I tried the new Y-matching, but it just gets stuck in an endless loop.

I wonder how their criteria for autosomal matching changed?

I have a genealogical and Y dna proven 4th cousin show up as a match under the old criteria with 61 shared centimorgans and the largest segment being 10 centimorgans. He is no longer an autosomal match of mine under the new criteria.

I have a genealogical and Y dna proven 6th cousin once removed not be an autosomal match of mine under the old criteria. Now under the new criteria he is an autosomal match with 10 centimorgans shared and the largest segment being 10 centimorgans.

    new ftdna matches

it works but not for paternal and maternal matches yet

I prefer the ...All matches, Table view

I asked Ftdna to add the kit number, but I cannot see it

New visuals redesign now being rolled out. Load times seem marginally better too, albeit lots of people will be trying to log in at the moment. Try again later/tomorrow if yours isn't loading just yet.

No updated Chromosome Browser/Origins by segment showing yet, hopefully later in the month.

Not had chance to check or compare the new matching algorithm yet, will do soon.

I see a bit less functions than before at Y results. I cant sort by date of match.
