H1J6 does anyone know where it comes from?

    Hi,
My Mum has just done the full sequence mtDNA test at FTDNA and we are H1J6. We have 3 close matches but all have in complete trees. Our earliest ancestress I think was born in Derbyshire, England but I can't confirm this as I haven't found her baptism.
I was just wondering if anyone knows where this haplogroup come from? I joined mitosearch but it only came up with HVR1 and HVR2 matches and none for H1J6 only H1, H etc. From the brief information I found online some people of Basque origin are H1J6 and some Huguenots.
    Thanks.

I am H1J6 as well. My maternal line is from Sussex, England. I have it back to the late 1700's. I would really love to know how frequently this occurs in the population of Britain! According to the Genographic project (national Geographic) it only occurs in less than .01 percent of the participants. H1 occurs in about 8% of female lines in the British Isles.
