    Uh, no. What it means is that your testing company did not test beyond Z645, the parent of Indian Z93 and my M458>L1029>YP445, which is central European in origin. What you need to do is a more in-depth test to see which particular subclade of Z645 you are.

    No. R1a-Z645 includes the great majority of all modern R1a, whether Indian or European (or West Asian, Central Asian, etc). You don't have results for the main levels below that (Z93, Z283), so you don't know which branch you'd fall under. Asian R1a is mostly R1a-Z93 and European mostly R1a-Z283, though not entirely.

    Do you have any negative calls (in red print) further down the tree, or is that it? With negative calls you could at least rule out some branches.

    no i dont get any negative calls. I took Myheritage so that's probably why I am not able to narrow down my haplogroup further. when it comes to Mtdna i am not able to get any info at all

    I don't know but its trivial to manually check the relevant SNPs - Z651 and Z2125. Make sure you use the hg37 positions not hg38 though.

    Z651=19419865GA (I have GG here in my MH file)
    Z2125=6892233CT (I have TT here)

    However my BAM files shows a C for the latter as we would expect. So it looks like the Z2125 MyHeritage call is wrong.
