The modern Hungarians surely have never more than 1 % East Asian on average. Romanians have more and they don't exceed that number as well - only on an individual level. And Hungarians most definitely have less.

Which I wildly speculate show some old difference between Z92 and CTS1211. One of that is G25 loves LTU_BA for POH13, POH28, Baltic Avar sample more than LVA_BA, which is usually loved for Balts and Slavs.

maybe that's a west Baltic-Slavic conection, which east Balts lack?

LTU_BA are early west Balts.
CSB9, POH13, POH28 are very likely just Slavs, despite their increased WHG, or maybe in fact, examples of very pure/unmixed Slavs.

Not very good models in my opinion. In particular, for the Adygeis.

Anapa_MA come from a burial ground, which differs markedly from other burial grounds in the Caucasus in terms of archaeological finds. Therefore, I think, for the best modeling of the Circassians, we need samples from other medieval cemeteries that are typical of the Western Caucasus.
