Not very common I think, of course its possible that the bam files are not in order with the names of the samples. This happens often, this why we need G25 coords asap so we can check his autosomalic profile.

Can you generate an autosomal file from R10667 bam file?

Nah, I think its a confirmation that its the correct sample. The question I wanted to ask is rather whether he is fully from North Africa or might have had actual more recent SSA/East African ancestry. Will be seen in the autosomal result probably. In Viminacium there was an East African individual as well by the way.

Maybe later I can try. But its way better to wait for G25 coords.

Yeah true, though I think he has more SSA than normal NA when looking at the PCA (more southern shift than Guanches), but we'll see in the G25 coords if they get released.

200 CE Doclea vs 1000 CE Doclea. Only 2 Montenegro Y samples seem L283.
So it seems despite the Avars and Goths ruining Doclea L283 has continuity in Montengro from Illyrian times to Middle Ages to today somewhat.
Now it will be extremely hard for people to argue against Illyrian continuity in SE Balkans.
So far the vast majority of Illyrian samples have been J2b. I think that we can now definitively state that the absence of E-V13 and R1b-Z2103 from the pre-Slavic southwestern Balkans is definitely not the result of sampling bias. The people carrying those two haplogroups were simply not there, but were probably lurking somewhere around modern day Kosovo and Serbia.

    Thank you!

Is there any linguistic or archaeological evidence to support this -because this would be very interesting!
