=> so yes, the Fassi may have jewish admixture (around 14% from Sephardic Jews). The admixture from Jews is not easy to determine, as Jews are a mix of Mediterranean populations so including them in a model create a lot of overlapings. The Levantine signal at the Morisco admixture can be also a signature of Jewish origin.

nota bene: the model I have built is partially built with Kmean method. I needed to add some individuals in order to reduce the residual distance for North Africans. This model is only for MENA region.

=> so yes, the Fassi may have jewish admixture (around 14% from Sephardic Jews). The admixture from Jews is not easy to determine, as Jews are a mix of Mediterranean populations so including them in a model create a lot of overlapings. The Levantine signal at the Morisco admixture can be also a signature of Jewish origin.

nota bene: the model I have built is partially built with Kmean method. I needed to add some individuals in order to reduce the residual distance for North Africans. This model is only for MENA region.

I think you do not understand what is a model and how to create one. So let me explain to you in English.
First, you have to understan that there is no "ancient" model as the ancient samples are not from the same period. "Ancient" is not a period of time. History is far longer than that you can imagine.

for instance, the time that is separating us from the early middle age is shorter that the time that is separating the colchitic age from the iron age.
all the samples of my model are from now to the late iron age (so a time period of 2800 years).
For instance, the mesolithic is 11 000 years BP, and for sure you know that in the Eurogene prefered model there are mesolithic samples (IBM) mixed with Neolithic samples (Anatolian Farmers) mixed with modern samples (Yoruba, Dinka, Han), the period of this model is about 12000 years (far more than mine).

I think you do not understand what is a model and how to create one. So let me explain to you in English.
First, you have to understan that there is no "ancient" model as the ancient samples are not from the same period. "Ancient" is not a period of time. History is far longer than that you can imagine.

for instance, the time that is separating us from the early middle age is shorter that the time that is separating the colchitic age from the iron age.
all the samples of my model are from now to the late iron age (so a time period of 2800 years).
For instance, the mesolithic is 11 000 years BP, and for sure you know that in the Eurogene prefered model there are mesolithic samples (IBM) mixed with Neolithic samples (Anatolian Farmers) mixed with modern samples (Yoruba, Dinka, Han), the period of this model is about 12000 years (far more than mine).

Okay what are you talking about? You still haven’t explained why you are mixing ancient and modern samples together in a model. That makes no sense, everyone understands time periods you don’t need to explain that to me you should take your own advice and either create a modern model or an ancient model.

Also Davidski provides a basic mode he doesn’t claim it to be accurate.

Either way do what you want after all it’s all fun and games I don’t take any of the models or results seriously it’s why I stick to reading scientific papers while doing this as a fun hobby on the side
