Thanks a lot. Great job, as usual. I had a hunch what the map would look like. So far the mystery remains unsolved of why my closest IA samples are all packed east of the Alps.

You look Gallic with slight English Celtic and Germanic.

When I see Hampshire/Isle of Wight being the brightest in the Isles, it’s screams Gallic.

I think it looks that way off first glance, but if you recall your earlier maps for Jonik, he pulls substantial Germanic ancestry, but it’s being watered down by his SW-like component. It’s all a delicate balance of Farmer ancestry which separates one NW population from the next.

Appreciate your input there Garimund, and what you say makes a lot of sense regarding my Germanic. The wonderful ver2 admix decomposition map by ph2ter was the most interesting in the series as far as I'm concerned, and I was hoping a few members of similar southern British origin would order one for comparison. Please don't go to any trouble ph2ter but what do typical southern English IA Celts from my own ver3 hotspots show for ver2 Iberian in your experience?

I can't do what you want. English Celtic gets English Celtic in a breakdown.
I can only compare its similarity map with your similarity map in the absolute scale (dmax 0.01-0.05):
The maps are similar, only your distance to ancient averages is bigger so your map is more pale:

Got you. I’d thought you might be able to just pull out the Iberian, but I see the problem and really appreciate what you’ve just done with those latest maps. You're a star, ph2ter. I guess your standard setting for ver3 gave the best overall picture of my Celtic/Germanic spread, while 0.05 was useful for detail within my Celtic England side. I've still got my fingers crossed that other Brits will want a ver2 admix decomposition map at some point. It’s not very often that I’m surprised about something in these autosomal comparisons, and an Iberian-like signal at that level was one of those times.
