Hello everyone, I just got my Big Y results from FTDNA (kit no : 197670) and my confirmed Ydna Haplo under R1a is R-BY67726 (private variant?)
    In this order R-Z2123 > R-Y934 > R-SK2031 > R-YP527 > R-BY67726.
Have uploaded my BAM onto Yfull as well.

Both sides of my family are Nairs.
Maternal ancestry have origins from Malappuram/Palakkad (Panicker)
Paternal ancestry have obscure origins from North Paravoor/Kollam (Vaniya or Chakkala?)

How do I go about using this information, thank you in advance.

Is your raw DNA data available? If yes, upload it on Gedmatch harappaworld under admixture heritage.

R-YP527 is a pretty interesting clade. So far it seems to be almost entirely restricted to Afghanistan+South Asia with some samples from Arabia (Arabs are oversampled and Z2123 has not a frquency higher than 1-2 percents). It was not found yet in ancient dna but will probably turn out to be significant among Bronze Age Indo-Aryans hence the presence among South Asians (including Brahmins afaik) and Afghans
