    Last hunter-gatherers of Europe

Which group of people in Europe today were the very last to live a hunter-gatherer lifestyle? I think it may be the Sami people of northern Scandinavia, Finland and Russia.

I can't think of any other peoples other than perhaps some peoples from parts of Russia. I am not talking about Siberia here though. I am talking about European Russia.

Are you counting Greenland as being European? I tend to think of it as North American, even though it's connected to Denmark. The Sami are the only (clearly) European group I can think of who might be considered to be hunter/gatherers, although I would tend to classify the traditional Sami as pastoralist, moving as they do with their reindeer herds.
