I am cc and I suspect most would put me as very extroverted
...not sure that is quite true as there is an aspect of my personality that could easily be considered introverted, but fair enough if I am more often extroverted than anything else

I am an introvert, which causes a lot of people to think I am rude or mean and some would make fun of how quiet I am, especially in school.

I’ve heard it defined this way.

Do you get more energy from being around people? (extroverted)

    Or

Do you get more energy from alone time? (Introverted)

I’m quite sociable but look forward to quiet time after being around a lot of people.

This is exactly what it means. I’ve been to a lot of work related training. The introverts hit their rooms after training and you won’t see them until dinner. The extroverts congregate immediately after.

ahh, some interesting definitions...and I had to laugh a bit at webbs work training example...that is very true...

if that is the criteria, I guess I am more an introvert...I do enjoy the alone time, and find that true as I get older

webb...if during that full day of training, I was easily one of the more talkative/participative ones, but then did the go to my room till dinner when its over, cause i'd had enough sociability for half an hour and wanted some quiet time...that puts me on the introvert still?
prolly I guess ...its not how I was at 20, but it surely is since 30-40 yrs old
