M222 Bundle Pack

Anybody know where to find more info on it ?

I hope it isn't just for all the SNPs FTDNA currently have under M222 on their haplotree !!!

They say the bundle includes 19 SNPs downstream of M222 (but their haplotree currently lists 23), PLUS another 44 not on "their" tree.

It'll be very interesting to see how this pans out!

Yep, just saw it at the bottom of an M222 kit's page, I'd have thought they would have made more of a fuss about this but maybe emails were sent out to M222+ customers ?

I manage 2 unrelated M222 men, a McCune and a Herrin, and received no emails from FTDNA or M222 or other project admins. I just happened to stumble on the offer on the home page tonight while checking if McCune's 37-67 markers were in yet.

Most unlike FTDNA to be so low key, anyhow word appears to be spreading fast : )

I see A259 isn't included, I had just sponsored a McManus yesterday for A259 as it's looking potentially interesting for some Connacht surnames. I think it's 50/50 that he'll be A259+, if he's negative I'll do DF105 next. Let's just say this individual has a GD of 4 (at 67 markers) from someone who has a verified lineage back to the 8th-9th century

Thanks Paul, be an idea to see how many of these are on Chromo2.

Generally the one's beginning with S should be, though I think DF104, DF105, DF109 might be on it but with different labels, likewise for DF85. It's an improvement anyways that's for sure!
