Question Ranchi, Jharkhand, India/Jorhat, Assam, India?

I have a couple of professors who hail from those regions and I was wondering what they genetic make up of people from those regions is like? Any information would be welcomed!!!!

I will speak in terms of what I have learned from Genographic testing, and their 9 ancestral regional populations. The professor from Jorhat, Assam might have a strong Southeast Asian component, perhaps even stronger than Southwest Asian, as this Northeast-India/South-east-Asia region is supposedly where the Austro-Asiatic-speaking rice-farmers spread from. There might also be 10-15% Northeast Asian component to him as well from the same Austro-Asiatic farmers as well as later arrivals like Ahoms across from Tibet and south China. I'd say his Northern-European and Mediterranean components would be very small to negligible.

Ranchi, Jharkhand, is more central/north/eastern India than the Northeast where Jorhat is. The SW Asian component here should be stronger than the SE Asian, and the NE Asian component should be very small, while the Mediterranean and North-Euro should be there in small (5-10%) amounts.
