So, I would say that 13.74% of your ancestors are also the ancestors of some Italian. But that does not mean they were Italian!

I'm surprised we're getting that much Iberian, but I guess that's down to very ancient ancestry as noted above. Our Amerindian is a lot lower than in K13 and K15.

These are the results of a person that is half Bavarian and half western Irish.

High Iberian in this person too. As Tolan stated it is from shared ancestry, In this case it is with Iberians and that doesn't mean there are Iberian ancestors. Some of the people involved in the multiple waves of migration into Europe also went to Iberia. Some of the DNA is more common in Iberians but not exclusive to them.

Yes, the Iberian is due to very ancient ancestry.

My father is entirely British. I have traced most of his lines with documentation back to the late 1700's here in the U.S. The only line I am missing is Webb, which is why I started this DNA adventure in the first place. However, my Y matches Wilder's from England, so the NPE for Webb happened just after arriving in the U.S., or just before leaving England. My mom's is a bit more complicated. My maternal grandfather had three grandparents born in Germany and one grandparent who is of British origin, documentation to mid 1800's. My maternal grandmother is half German and half British, documentation for all back to late 1700's in the U.S.
