I am sharing this here just in case some genetic cousins come to the surface and become interested in the history of one of their matches; due to the nature of a new career my ability to seek out and inform relations will dwindle, so I intend to leave information behind as I may:

The lives of Middle Tennessee’s upland river folk are not forgotten. May hog and hominy be apleanty, and take care to loosen thy horn or sole-leather buttons post meal.

I have one match at FTDNA to a lady who has REEDER among the surnames she gives. 36.20/14.1 cm, or whatever the units are. At least one name in the list, which I only briefly looked at, is of southern origin: Mullinax (possibly Huguenot).

It looks like, via a Reeder match at Ancestry, that it connects somehow to my Puckett-Linville-Morgan line. That would mean it includes cousin (6 times removed) Daniel Boone. Well, it might be not directly that way. I only looked at surnames given. But it is a DNA match, so it is in the ball park (Puckett, etc).
