Post YOUR GENOME COMPARED WITH 45KY UST-ISHIM & 7KY STUTTGART

Ust-Ishim (Gedmatch F999935) are the 45ky, and oldest human remains to be genetically decoded. The remains were found in western Siberia, and probably belonged to the first wave of humans to migrate out of Africa and into Asia and Europe, before or at the time of the East-West Eurasian split.

Ust-Ishim appears to be related more closely to East Asians, than to modern Europeans.

LBK Stuttgart (Gedmatch F999916) are the ~7ky remains of an early farmer, related to Early European Farmers (EEF), with mainly near eastern ancestry.

I thought it would be interesting to plot Ust-Ishim vs. Stuttgart for total shared segments > 4 cM for members that post their results under this thread
    .

The more members that I get from different ethnic backgrounds that post their results, the more informative the plot becomes with regards to Stuttgard/Ust-Ishim
    genome overlap of various ethnicities.

One of the reasons I chose these 2 ancestral humans is because they seem dissimilar enough that they do not have any shared segments > 3 cM.

To get your results, log into Gedmatch, click on “One to One’ compare, and plug in only the following information:

    1. Your Gedmatch kit number (kit 1), and for kit 2, either;
      1. F999935, for Ust-Ishim, or
      2. F999916, for Stuttgart

    2. “SNP count minimum threshold to be considered a matching segment”, enter 100
    3. “Minimum segment cM size to be included in total”, enter 4
    4. Leave everything else at default.

My results for total segments > 4 cM:

    Me
    Daughter
    Ust-Ishim total segments >4cM
    22 cM
    24.1 cM
    Ust-Ishim longest segment
    4.6 cM
    5.8
    Ust-Ishim highest # SNPs/segment
    563
    585
    Stuttgart total segments>4cM
    44 cM
    9.1 cM
    Stuttgart longest segment
    5.1 cM
    4.7 cM
    Stuttgart highest # SNPs /segment
    579
    609

EDIT: I think it would also be informative if we post the longest segment, and the highest number of SNPs per segment. I apologize for not including this in the original post.

2nd EDIT: Results are based on 23andMe
