    Eurasia K16 Admixture Run

Here are the K16 run results averaged and sorted by Steppe. As expected at the lower K16, the Steppe signal has broadened and overlap increased with pops. At K16 the steppe cluster is still well defined. Although I prefer the K19 for comparing modern pops to each other due to the higher resolution, and better detail, I believe the broader K16 steppe signal represents a more accurate overlap between modern pops and BA samples, due to the expected drift of modern pops post BA.

The Steppe component here peaks in Afansievo at about 100%.

With the removal of BedouinB, there is no SW Asian cluster per se. The E African component is actually a mixed E African/N African component peaking in Somalis and Mozabites. SW Asian admixture is accounted for by the E/N African component and EEF

Excellent work. Would you mind posting the Fst distances if they've been generated at all, please?

Your second post confirms this regularly cited issue of "steppe-bleedover" into South Asian or Caucasus-related components can be fully mitigated (Sintashta has 0% for both). Some additional stats would be nice to see (but not essential, to be honest). The admixture frequencies speak for themselves.

You keep getting better at isolating the steppe signal into Asia (practice makes perfect, as they say).

I wanted to do a couple of lower K runs to see if I can still maintain a steppe cluster. Unfortunately, even running using all 4 cores these runs are very time consuming when I enable cross validation error check. The runs average 12 hours each. I think I will probably have some calculator files put together by next weekend.
