Are all Europeans who match with South Asians as a result of Ancient Steppe admixture

So I got my 23andme results back a couple days ago and had over 150 relatives. Around 120 of them were White Americans. My results didn't show any European so is this ancient similarity or would those segments be too small?

What distance are you matching the white americans at? What ethnicities do you receive? 150 relatives is extremely small, but not surprising for a Bengali--my girlfriend is half African American and Half Korean and her first 6 pages of matches are on her African American side.
I'd be reluctant to say that you'd show as a match based on an ancient segment--I'd be far more likely to believe the ethnicity estimate on both sides just doesn't acknowledge the ethnicity that is there. I would recommend using a chromosome painter on GEDmatch to explore these matches further.
Predominately English, Irish & German with Dutch, Swiss, French & Polish
Y Haplogroup E-V13 ("Siegel" via Prussia), Mt Haplogroup H24a1 (via Unknown)

Well, my closest white American match on 23andme is 15cM and my closest on Gedmatch is 22cM.
I'll definitely try to look at the chromosome paintings on gedmatch.
