DF41 bundle

FTDNA have released a new DF41 bundle, it contains over 132 SNP's that are found below DF41/CTS2501 in various BigY/NGS tests. Initial cost is $99 no doubt this will go up The full list is here:

They've partially updated their haplotree but it's bit of mess, for example I see they have A105 as DF41 equivalent when this is a SNP found in 1013 cluster (my own cluster). Obviously no doubt they'll start editing tree once results come in or when they are pointed at relevant BigY results. Obviously alot of the SNP's above are in Alex Williamson's DF41 tree which can be found here:

One of my project members who ordered the DF41 pack has results back now, they mostly appear as expected except for A113 (positive but should be negative), and FGC5607 (negative and should be positive). I am not sure if these discrepancies are due to haplotree inaccuracy, dysfunction of the SNP on the test, or perhaps recurrence or biological instability issues with the SNP itself. He is not in the DF41 project yet, I can send him an email suggesting he join since he seems to be fairly enthusiastic (ordered the M343 panel, then the DF41).

It be great to have him join the project. I had ordered the bundle myself and see similiar inconsistencies, for example they have me negative for A105, but it shows up as one of my own snp's during FGC (NGS) testing. When work permits I'll be drafting an email to FTDNA with regards to some inconsistent results etc.
