    Interesting! There's Kenosewun Museum very close by in Lockport, Manitoba, which seems to be almost permanently closed for renovations, but which has an interesting survey of the archeology of the area -- including some of the only evidence of pre-contact agriculture on the Canadian Prairies.

    The farmers here seem to have been related to the Mandan or Hidatsa peoples. I'm guessing the seeds came from this dig.
