Do you inherit from a particular grandparent

How much of your genome do you inherit from a particular grandparent?

My son and his paternal grandfather ( my father ) have a very high percentage of the same genomes, but, in particular these 3 chromosomes , numbers 6, 10 and 15 my son shows he inherited all 100% of his grandfather chromosome.
    Is this unusual ?

    My Path = ( K-M9+, TL-P326+, T-M184+, L490+, M70+, PF5664+, L131+, L446+, CTS933+, CTS3767+, CTS8862+, Z19945+, BY143483 )

Grandfather via paternal grandmother = I1-L22 ydna
Great grandmother paternal side = T1a1e mtdna

No, it's not unusual. While one inherits 50% from each parent, one does not necessarily inherit 25% from each grandparent. From gedmatch's one-to-many comparison I can see that I share about 27,5% of my DNA with my grandpa, while only 22,5% with my grandma.

Here is an interesting article about the topic with some statistics: http://gcbias.org/2013/10/20/how-muc...r-grandparent/

Yes not unusual. My granddaughter gets nearly 30% from me but only 20% from my husband. Especially the smaller chromosomes may be inherited intact.
