    Cretans

What is their usual y-dna, mt-dna, autosmal dna? They remind me of Montenegrin and Hercegovinian Serbs, which is probably where I get my height from, 190cm. They seem like a tall war like folk that can only compare to Montenegrin And Hercegovinian SERBS from the Balkans.

    Here is a 23andme example: http://www.theapricity.com/forum/sho...-might-he-have

They seem similar to Sicilians in autosomal DNA.

Cretans for some reason look significantly more Central-Eastern European than their genetics show. I have seen many Cretans who can pass in Central and Eastern Europe and are often even lighter than northern Greeks and Bulgarians. Now, they do have a Baltic element, it's just lower than anywhere on the mainland Balkans.

As someone who has seen many Cretan results on 23andme and the accompanying Gedmatch results, Cretans are autosomally very similar to Sicilians and other southern Italians (Calabria, Campania, etc.). Their components line up especially well with Calabria.

I wonder how Ancient Minoans would compare with modern day Cretans.
