    Question Ftdna vs 23andme

    Hi all, I am newbie,

    This is my test :
    FTDNA
    54 % European
    - Western and Central Europe : 29%
    - Southern Europe : 25%
    29 % African
    - West African : 25 %
    - East Central Africa : 3 %
    - South-Central Africa : 1%
    12 % Natve American
    4 % East Asian
    2 % Middle Eastern

    dodecad world 9 admixture :
    Population
    Amerindian 16.13%
    East_Asian 0.34%
    African 27.52%
    Atlantic_Baltic 34.36%
    Australasian 0.60%
    Siberian -
    Caucasus_Gedrosia 5.46%
    Southern 15.55%
    South_Asian -

    DNA LAND ???
    Southwestern European (29.53%) Ashkenazi/Levantine (11.09%) North/central European (10.95%)
West African (17.01%), East African (10.02%), Native American (15.21%), Other (6.19%)

Some people said me to get 23andme test, what I can learn more. I am obsessed by my origin. I was adopted at my 10, I don't know my parents. And I know that can't make profile of my parents origin. I am surpised that my biggest European inherit is Western and Central Europe, I know Sao Paulo is very mixed European and someones came from Western Europe and Central... Italian.... And dna land it's beta version and make different test...

    Thanks

    Paulo,

Based on the results of many Latin Americans, Iberians, and northern Europeans your Dodecad World9 admixture results are the most accurate. FamilyTreeDNA has a problem with correctly assigning Native American (Amerindian) and DNA LAND assigns Ashkenazi/Levantine to people that do not get Ashkenazi anywhere else. Your Atlantic_Baltic 34.36% and Southern 15.55% in World9 and Southwestern European (29.53%) but 0% South European at DNA.Land points to you having a lot of Iberian ancestry which is probably mainly Portuguese.
