I remember some years ago when we took our kids to Disney World in Orlando, Florida, in November. It was 16 F (-9 C) when we left Virginia and about 80 F (27 C) when we arrived in Florida. We could not believe the riot of flowers and greenery in Orlando. They had poinsettias growing outside! It was fabulous. My favorite things were the Spanish Moss hanging from the Live Oaks and the orange trees growing everywhere.

Of course, later I went to Florida in the summer and discovered why I could never live there. Phew!
